Had a text of rob tonight asking if i could post this for him as he is away form the Computer!

'Been out in the bx today with my bro, on flat ground (on private test track!) we timed the Bx 10 100 mph in just 18 seconds on shell v max! (have vid to prove too!:D)'[/i]

All good, but....

How did he time it? With a stopwatch? Cos thats not exactly accurate, even though i've done it many times myself.

But the other thing is that is it actually a good time? Mine got a 15.7 roughly on the 1/4 and that was at 92mph.....would it take another 2+ secs to pull another 8mph? I don't think theres a gearchange between the two :?:

I think thats quite a conservative time personally, it'd probably do better with official equipment. Anyone know the book time?

Shell V max? LOL I think he means "V Power"!
Was it 0-100 or 10-100?? And I hope it was done GPS.

i dont know how rob's bro timed it, all i got was the text! i am sure in the new year when rob ventures back down to home he will enlighten us all!
btw that would be with the 17's too!
rob's away from the computer till early jan so we may have to wait for the vid!

please bear in mind there was me and my bro in the car plus the car is running on 17 inch alloys which will slow it down on acceleration so in all 18 secs to just over 1 ton with 2 adults in is good. I will post the vid when i get home. cheers rob (oh and that included loosing tracktion in first and second as well)
