WILL THIS FIT???

Hi the pump on my 16v has gone and i have tracked one down for an affordable fee... Thing is im not too sure that it fits bloke whose got it says he took it off a 1987 1.9d and he has maintained it well by keepin oil in it he thinks it will but i am not so sure any ideas??

no it wont fit.

the 16v pump has a smaller diameter pully wheel and connects up differently to a diesel
