Hello Folks,

Mate of mine has a 2000 Pug 206 1.9D (N/A) and its gearbox has goon pop, does anyone know of any other models that share the gearbox? I'm thinking maybe a 406/Xantia box will fit, probably many more too, needs to be a direct replacement though with no mods needed.

iirc the box is the same as ours?? in terms of design type! (BE* etc)would have thought that an eqivalent model in the various ranges would have the same box??

id have thought the 206's use the MLT gearbox which is seen in late model Xantias and onwards, they've probably also got a hydraulic clutch. Have you had a look and or can you post pictures?

Yeah possably at the weekend Vanny, i'm not driving at the moment so I will have to wait till I see me mate, will get some pics then if its not sorted before which i doubt it will be
