True enough Jezzie, fortunately it only weighs 9KG 8)

I have a bit of lycra, but had that for my MTBing anyway, no aero helmet, but I do need to get a 'roadie' one, so may pop to Decathlon at some point.

Yes they are uber light aren't they, I'm looking forward to going out on mine soon!

Picked it up last wednesday, and the weather has been rubbish, and we had friends up over the weekend!!

I will get out on it soon though :D

Dude! on a 9kg bike your going to be Flying! (about 20lb ish??) i remember a few months ago riding along with a guy on a road bike, old chap too! he was free wheeling along and i was having to pedal to keep up lol! mind you, he had to go a longer route to get to the same place so kinda worked out alright!:D
i would love to get myself a proper road bike someday! some crackign views around here to see from the road!

Hi Timmo,

yep just a shade over 20lbs, I don't have my Marin MTB to hand at the moment, as it's in storage, but with the lack of carbon fibre, and suspension forks, I reckon she must be somewhere around 40-50% heavier, so should feel well different, not to mention the super skinny tyres :D

My bro's had a nice Cannondale for ages, so I thought it was about time, and this one came up on ebay, and I had to have it, decent spec as well, was £850 2 years ago, and its only that old, and has never been out in the wet!
