To get top dollar you're best to pull the engine and box etc out yourself and sell seperate. It saves them the time of doing it themselves, and you could probably command a £200 premium for all the gear minus the useless shell.
Then sell some remaining good spares at knock-down prices to your fellow BX friends and send the rest to the yard for scrap metal. Hassle, but if you want the cash.....
16v for sale.... maybe
That's the problem!! One of the reasons for getting rid of it is because I haven't got the time to work on it - if I had time to strip it down I'd just spend the time fixing it and getting it back on the road instead.Kitch wrote:Hassle..
I know some people don't agree with making it sound like a donor car, but what else can I do? If someone wants to stump up the cash to take it on then I'll happily pull it off ebay, and can even give you a load of spares to go with it. In fact it wouldn't even be a problem to get it completely roadworthy if someone wanted to foot the garage bill.

£340, and it's going to someone that's owned a grey K reg 16v before and wants to get mine back on the road. Result!

Nope, he was Russell. And he's just left now. Top chap, and a genuine car nut. Gave him a few spares to help him out with it, so hopefully it'll be back on the road soon, and possibly on it's way to the Ring for a show down with a 405 Mi16
