Yellowing foglights

I've just fitted a new pair of genuine fog lights to the Valve and want to yellow the centre part of the lense to match the original Bx brochure pictures.
Is there a film you buy to do this or is it still a brush on ink like my Mum used to do many years ago before our annual summer holiday to France

youmay better off with the yellow paint as then its easily removable with meths rather than anything sticky!!

As above just buy a bottle of "amber lens" a small bottle of yellow translucent paint - most motor accesory shops stock it.

Off to the motor factors then at lunchtime then
Tim, the part of the glass that actually houses the bulb and not the outer rectangular piece with the screw holes.

the sad thing is that the yellow foglights are much better int he fog than clear / white ones are! loL!
and also you dont look half such a spanner driving around in broad daylight with them on either!

anybody driving around in broad daylight in good lighting conditions with fog lights on is a spanner... yellow or not! and the police issue tickets for this sort of thing when they have nothing better to do!
