Feeling Black (The Longest Shot ever??)

My valver has been written off, by a cow. Whilst parked.
I am not happy.

I know this is a massive long shot, but has anybody got a pair of front wings, bonnet, O/S (drivers side) doors and P2 rear bumper in black they are prepared to part with??

I'm right on the brink of thworing the car in the bin frankly, The cost of re-spray is more than I have available right now, hence if anyones got some black bits it would save the car and make me less miserable.

Long shot, but JayW did have a black rear bumper, I know, I gave it to him, sorry I can't help anymore.

Vanny has kindly offered me some panels, which I may well have, was just hoping to find some black ones to save on the cost of spraying. If only I had still had my spray booth...

Whichever car I'm not using at the time lives in a barn I rent with some buses, other cars and tat. A cow from the farm "broke into" said barn, had a crap on the front of my mates CX GTi Turbo and then discovered it couldn't turn round to leave, so it kicked it's way out through my car.
Every panel on the O/S is stoved in, the rear bumper was all but ripped clean off, the wheel spat and sill covers have been kicked to death, the O/S mirror (which was brand new

) is FUBAR, it even managed to blow the O/S/R tyre off the rim.
And the N/S mirror is hanging by the wires, but thats the only damage to the N/S.

Very unimpressed. I may start eating meat after all. It's time for the veggie to turn nasty!

a mate of mine is breaking a black gti at the mo! (lives in wales - newport) can give you his email as he may be able to help with the bonnet and light, (the wings are coming to cornwall!

Thats great mate, thanks. I have no sourced some black front wings, and I have a brand new O/S/R 1/4 wing and O/S/R door.
I have a used bumper, not perfect but repairable.

So I just need the O/S side pod, a drivers door and a bonnet.

So yeah, that would be awesome mate, Newport's only about 30 mins from me!

And I thought this sort of thing only happened in the movies.

LOL, yeah, I suspect any comedian could do well out of that!

Battered it may be, but it passed the MoT this morning with no advises, so I'm a bit happier now!

Re=panel, full respray, it might even look better than it did before...

mate thats a shite'r! have to say. sad to hear you don't have the moo'la to sort it. sorry i had to!, im a bit pissed. but i do bring good news with my piss taking. now these are not black but i have both front wings a bonnet doors side skirts............... well half a fecking car of spares in my garage really. if you cant get bits closer then im sure we can work something out to save yer motor!! beer tokens like

As I said mate, if you need an O/S electric mirror its yours. You can rummage around in my spares boxes and see if you need anything. All FOC of course

I'm a bit happier now, so I'll get stuck into it next weekend.

I took some piccies after I'd spent a day and a half panel beating it back into kinda BX shape, but I didn't take any as it was. Didn't have the phone on me.
