GASKETS!

Post by tim leech »

Where is best to get inlet/exhaust manifold and rocker box gaskets from? GSF and ECP dont list them. Standard ones are fine.

Thanks

last time I got a rocker gasket it was labelled as for a 2 liter 406 which uses a derivatice of the engine, so maybe try and see if they list that. if not try Payen or BGA (british gasket association) both have massive listings and will be availble from most car parts places near you! especially trade ones rather than corner shop A1 motorstore types...

They are definitley in the top end gasket kit available from GSF
Part number: N11412. Price is £60 ish, so unless you're doing a full top end rebuild may be best to try a local motor factor, or a friendly indy Cit specialist.

You can get rocker gaskets from Citroen for around £15. I got some inlet manifold gaskets from a chap on ebay for a few quid and they worked perfectly. Can look out his ID if you want it (he dealt in Pug bits mainly IIRC).

This company (http://www.bgautomotive.co.uk/) also did inlet manifold gaskets, but didn't have any in stock when I tried them last year. £2 each IIRC, might also do the other ones you're after.

GSF have Mi16 rocker cover gaskets, they're called something else IIRC...
