What are they? 16v seats with the centre section retrimmed...?
I always thought that the interiors with green bits on were originally out of the Hurricane.

They're definitely Le Mans seats, infills are grey and black with red flecking.

Interesting! I just had a trawl through the old forum actually - as one should before asking silly questions eh?
So now it all makes a bit more sense. Just one question left then, did these later seats have the same adjustable lumbar support as the soft grey/black striped ones that I have?

Yes they are, same seats with adjustable lumbar as the "Monza" trim that is fitted to our phase 1's.
16v seats were the only Bx seats with the lumbar adjustment, the leather trim is only based on the lesser spec GTi seats.

Phase 1 and early phase 2 has the monza trim and from 1991 onwards they had the lemans seats as you see here.

maybe he's colour blind?! Seriously, the black material can go an almost-dark green colour from exposure to the sun so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
The one question to ask is whether one of the seats (drivers) has the lumbar adjustment wheel half way up the backrest - if it does it's 16V for sure, if it doesn't it's something else!

Ah, I see know but Adrian's comment is correct. I'll guess that the seller isn't a 16v owner
