anyone noticed all the members joined here in October?
I think we are being spammed.
I had 5 spam messages in my inbox.Anyone else got them?
Can anyone do anything about it?

ive not received any in my inbox of here (touch wood),
iirc vanny and luke destroy the newbies and block ip's or have a system inplace that does so, sadly alot of people set up spambots to cause havok forumwide for fun!

i've certainly not had any spam PM's, and there is little i can do to check what went where (if you could forward me copies i would be grateful). Will investigate as best i can.

A lot of "members" have joined too in October,all seem to me as rubbish,check out the member list.

Clive,
The members do shoot up quickly and it has already been said the are just spammers, Luke and Vanny do clear the members list off fairly often so that will explain why the members list goes up and down.

now that makes a little more sence. They aren't spam messages, they are system generated messages created when someone comments on your car in the garage. I had thought this had been taken care off but it would seem that that is perhaps not the case. A few changes later and i hope this is now fixed, however PLEASE let me know if it happens again to anyone!
