Air Flow meter.

Post by surjit25 »

Does anyone know what the part no is for the 16V non cat 1989
model as the one now on the car ends with 202 which I think is for
a cat model..... hv seen it on 1.9 8V with cat models.
The idle is pretty lumpy at the moment and CO can't be adjusted.

Also where is the diagnostic socket located, there's one
on the right side of the car (black) but my 4120 and ELIT can't read it at all. Something must be wrong.

diagnostics socket, should be by the LHM reservoir, usually black or green depending on the loom. Most of the time they dont work. I've got the proper snap on tool, but the connector doesn't work on my car. Not had chance to track the fault yet, i suspect wires or dirt ingress. ELIT should be fine with it so long as it works.

dont know about the AFM.
