Most of you will know that the cross box on the BX has two ball type fittings that cup fittings from the centre pipe and tailbox attach to.
Right the problem is this - a lot of performance exhaust boxes do not have the ball type fitting but a cup with a steel o-ring to sandwich between the two similar cups - the O.E. cross box has these o-rings basically welded in place but you can get the o-rings on there own.
My question is does anyone know of an online store that stocks these steel o-rings

sounds like the sort of strange thing CES would keep in stock, not sure they do online ordering but can probably be persuaded to poast if you ask nicely,
google Chester Exhaust Supplies and send them an email.
They are the only people i know of in the north west who keep dizzy caps for the 16v in stock! Albeit crappy intermotor ones

Thanks everyone.
prn you were thinking like the exhaust man LOL! the local fitters have given me a pair of pug sealing rings which fit between the manifold and downpipe but they are the correct diameter so with some paste they might do the trick.
