when they take all this stuff out, how easy is it to put back if you sourced the parts? for eg does the replacement loom just all plug back into place or does it need a lot to get them running again?
I doubt its worth it considering a running car is found for such little money these days, but the thought crossed my mind.

Andy,
before considering you will need to check with seller what ancilarys have been used and if all the hydraulic parts are there like the pressure reg and flow valve, also make sure they have not bent or cut through any hydraulic lines in the way of the engine (for quick removal) otherwise you could end up buying new lines etc.
