tis a hurricane or the like special edition! getting rarer to spot in yards now as the Govt. introduced a plastic's tax in effect, a charge on yards disposing of plastics, and due tot he amount in the bx the local Cit,ren and pug specialest breakers dont want bx's anymore!! sad hey!

Cossie, Rob Hughes had a few of them matey! officially caled tailblazers iirc,

Puny exhaust is giveaway - but did Hurricane have the 16v rear spoiler and C pillar slats?

Yep, Hurricanes had the whaletail and side pods.

Although this one being french would be the french version of the Hurricane, which was the Oraine or some such....

I thought (that in UK at least) only 16v had that spoiler and Hurricane got Gti spoiler.
I therefore cannot recall ever seeing a Hurricane if it indeed has the 16v spoiler

There is a tzd turbo hurricane bx in st austell identical to that one in the pic, the hurricane model came as a 1.7 td or 1.9 8v gti with 16v spoiler and side pods but no kit. It was a special edition with its own interior.

Timmo,

we dont have the green 16v anymore, we sold it and kept the blue 8v gti as its in better condition with a lot less miles so you cant miss us now!.
