BX V6 Update
Not a huge amount to update so far, just waiting on one more idler for the timing belt install.
I found a seller on ebay (aep direct) that did me the tensioner and rollers for about £120 - thats a saving of a lot from stealer prices, I needn't mention!
She needs a new clutch as well, so going to get the clutch made at a local specialist rather than shell out a load for a new OEM one next week.
the intention is to spend less than £500 total on this project - including the cost of the engine! Ghetto tuning

couple of things i know about the v6 block and clutch is that it is capable of handling a lot of power in std form!
the block and clutch iirc (the clutch bit! certain on the block) comes out of the 6pot deisel trucks that pug make, there was a guy in a PFC mag a while back now with a red Coupe with the plate R404BHP, he had the V6 in there and was actually running over 400 brake on a std bottom end and clutch as it simply refused to go!
very strong in std form!!!

Hello
Been a while since I updated this!
Have been concentrating on getting this finished
But I've started back on the BX.
Picked up a VEMS ecu (was using megasquirt, but it's a hassle with the single ignition driver), and have chopped the front of the car slightly.
Have mocked the engine up in situ, and plan to fit this weekend and then fab up the exhaust downpipes.
Will hopefully have some photo updates soon.

Sorry for the slow response. It's pretty lengthy!
Off the top of my head:
Sleeved block
stock sized CP pistons
totalseal gapless rings
crower conrods
acl race bearings
1mm oversized valves, hand ported head (by me)
HKS 264 duration cams
fidanza vernier pulleys
GT3582r turbo, custom (home made) top mount manifold
60mm wastegate
AEM ECU
1 x walboro in tank pump, feeding bosch 044 motorsport pump in boot through swirl pot
1000cc injectors
wolfkatz fuel rail (modified)
24 x 12 x 4 inch boot mounted intercooler
4 x LS2 truck coils (replaced OEM ignition as it was breaking up at high boost)
550lb/ft clutch
It is kind of BX16V related, as I'm using a bx16v inlet manifold to make a new inlet manifold! The BX one is much better design than the toyota item.
