I've posted on Aussy frogs but thought it can't hurt to put it on here to.

I'm looking for a BX 16V in the Sydney area. I'm not too concerned with appearance however it needs to be in good working order, i.e. worthy of a pink and not about to break down. It must have over 6 month rego obviously the longer the better. I'd prefer White, Blake, Grey or Silver, but will consider pink/red. I have about $3000 to spend. I've owned 3 of these so know what I'm after, what to spot and what is expected to be wrong and isn't that important. Please PM me if your interested in parting with the best car Citroen have ever made.

I'm also after a job in IT application/systems management/Design in ITIL, Telecomms, or networks, to fund the expected repairs please PM me if you know of anything. I have 8 year experience in this area

Just bought a Mazda 626 V6 so don't have the funds now, rego is up in 6 months. I'll be looking again then. + I'm in NSW.

trade it! Surely there arent that many decent 16vs floating around in OZ?Its a bit of a hike, but worth it! Keep an eye out on aussiefrogs.com.au too, some real enthusiasts hanging out there.

Made in 93/Reg 94, truly one of the very last batches
b4 production stopped.

on aussiefrogs the banter is its an ex-bathhurst spare, imported with 160hp engine etc etc. looks quite nice.

I'm not registered on there any more, but first thing I'd be asking for is the ORGA number off the A pillar to confirm the date of manufacture.

I had a cat one - they are slower. Main differences on the engine are compression ratio and inlet cam, plus of course ECU maps are different. I'm reliably informed that you can swap the inlet cam for a hotter profile and get most of the performance back once you've ripped the cat off.

Looks like a metal bonnet one based on what I can see in the pic - mine had one too
