It's been a long time gone.....After four years without, here it is : http://www.finn.no/finn/car/used/object ... e=29404792

Will be going 1200 kilometres up to Bodø by train on sunday and drive it back ( hopefully! ) home. Don't know anything about it, neither do they who sell it because previous owner died earlier this year. Those who sell it are relatives, and has never seen the car. Is a little bit of a chance to take, I can see that :D

Looks straight in the photos :D

The wheel trims have got to go and be replaced with the correct alloy wheels.

Note the headlamp washers on the front bumper that were required for the Scandinavian cars.

Wheels on car are studded winters, suppose it's original 16V on summers. Yes, all scandinavian BX's has headlightwashers and heated seats. Our 8-valver has it too. Heated seats are never working, however ;-)
Didn't recognize the alu dash until you mentioned it ! Looks like left part of front spoiler is missing....
Car hasn't been running for some months, probably it's a flat battery now.....photos will come, will try to update after we leave Bodø on monday and start travelling south.

I assume the 2 additional switches on the centre console between the rear window switches are for the heated seats :?:

Never seen those before.

16 hours by train up to Bodø, arrived 9.15 am. Taxi to pick up keys, taxi to get to the car some miles away. Wrong keys! Phonecalls.....ten minute walk and got the right keys. Started immediately, rising! Found a tyreshop, left fifteen year old studded winters there, one damaged summer tyre needed replacement. First leg south down to Piteå in Sweden, 550 kilometres. Felt fine and tight, 40 kilometres left and lost LHM but not all, still had brakes..Got it fixed the next day, rotten return hose. Checked service history and car has been running 4000 kilometres the last six years, got new rebuilt longblock at authorized Citroen dealer at 98.000 km. in 1998.
Stayed at beautiful Piteå for five days and drove it back home. Some rust, dents and damage on front and rear bumpers. Lots of wiring from a previous monster-stereo installation. Windows and sunroof stuck but mild force and patience/lots of oil and back to work! Engine sounds fresh and pulls strong. ABS-lamp is probably removed, which nearly made us spin off the road as I jumped the brakes to avoid a moose in the middle of the night a short distance from home when BX locked up rear wheels. Sometimes your're glad you can handle suddenly driving sideways in 120 km/h. Take short trips every day to see if more surprises show up.....
