Does anybody have a good gearbox for a 8v GTI?
Could someone tell me if a 16 V gearbox is much different ?

I have 16v BE3 Gearbox for sale its in very good condition came from a 1993 phase 2 16v with only 53,000 miles. From memory the ratios are closer on the 16v to the 8v (faster acceleration) but are the same gearbox externally so 100% interchangable.

I am not 100% sure if my gearbox is the problem but will be getting a lend of a garage at the weekend and I will investigate.
I will be interested in your gearbox if my gearbox is faulty , I will contact you if I need it ....thanks.....ANDREW
