We've been to Brands where surprise, surprise, we had more problems. Qualified 24th overall, 6th in class. Managed 16th overall, 5th in class by end of race one. Retired in race 2.
Bertie felt lacklustre and slow. Tried hard but could not get him to run crisp, just felt flat.
Head off - valves are letting by. Worse was to come when sump off - found bits of liner skirt.
At least we've identified some problems so hopefully a rebuild will have Bertie feeling fit and raring to go for Thruxton.
