Thanks Andy glad you enjoyed it :D

Your mate should be pleased to know that AFAIK the Scirroco fuel tank is pretty easy to get hold of even for the GT2 as according to where I have checked the GT and GT2 are the same.
I remember from my GT days that they were the same as the GT2 only different cloth and badging etc.

Basically there were 2 models the MK1 and MK2 - both the GT and GT2 were MK2 Scirrocos and if he looks on GSF or ECP they tell you which chassis numbers have which tank.

Cheers
Luke

I must say Luke you're very trusting with your car! I remember the first time I met you and you let me have a go, in the wet, on roads I didn't know and you were encouraging me to go faster!!! :D

I thoroughley enjoyed the drive, you must be real proud of your car, it's bl**dy lovely. I'm more protective of mine and it aint half as good as yours!

Cheers

You're selling your car short Timmo, it's top shelf material!

Twice as good as mine at least... :(

I think Luke likes the going fast bit

I had the pleasure of driving "Sweet Emotion" for the best part of 500 miles a while back and on the 2 occations i did "open her up" Mr Toddman had a very wide smile on his face

Possably the nicest car i've ever driven and i have driven a fair few nice motors.
