Cooling isn't part of the MOT, so if it's running all the time is of no concern to the MOT man

Ok kewl as mine gets hot if it sits ticking over, will stick the heater on full whack and keep an eye on the temp gauge as I have a manual override switch.

Best of luck Tim, but I'm sure you won't need it
I thought all the work you did on the car when you bought it would mean that the car would sail through

Not really mike, i made it look nice but it does need some serious mechanical fettling, downpipe, cv joint, non working ABS and the boot floors a bit dodgy to say the least!
I have a s/h osf driveshaft to go on but im told its a swine of a job!

Good luck Tim but the car doesn't have any real issues does it?
Cheers

The boot floor has some holes it at where it meets the rear panel! and the exhaust is held up by tie wraps and the ABS doesnt work, neither does the light!
Not as many issues as its owner lol

Driveshaft is quite an easy change mate, it won't phase you with some patience and a haynes manual

Thanks timmo, now the recon begins, 5 new spheres a front pipe and 2 driveshafts are on the list. On top of the 2 new goodyear eagles it has today!
Plus some paint, dents (as he didnt show again) and new leads, dizzy cap and rotar arm.
