handbrake cables

hi guys,
i have a question. when i got my car from my mate he gave me a handbrake cable with it, told me he bought it but never had time to fit it. but now i dont remember which side it was for. i have the cable but need to know if they are the same on both sides. or are they different lenghts?

i would have thoguht they were not sided so should be okay for either! i know the 309 ones were the same left or right!
worth doign them both at the same time though imo! as then they are both the same length!

yes thanks i will keep thst in mind. i will do the right side first then the left as i dont use the car just now anyway.
