Not to worry boys it's all fixed up now an' looking gooood. I used this old shot just to set the avatar size, I'll change it for a current one as soon as I've cleaned it.
Believe or not but that was a
"carpark incident ", daft woman reversing, foot slipped off the brake, floored the accelerator, paniced and froze, must have hit me at about 20 mph and wrote both cars off. I eventually got £700 + 4 week car hire + car back, cost twice that to repair though
....but it looks a
lot better than it ever did before.
I bet she didn't have to repair hers

the upside was
that it made me have all the little things done that made the car look dowdy. The window surrounds were reblacked, new headlights & fogs, new wiper arms & the front bumper had a missing towing eye cover & splits everywhere as did the rear. I also had the cambelt, waterpump, tensioners & FDV replaced while it was away.
So with the new paint and an all over machine polish quite a few people thought I had replaced it.
I am now proud of it so something positive did came out of it.
Don't think I'll be quite so philosophical if it happens again

Christ on a bike, fair play Martyn - that car was a total mess, but good job on getting it back on the road, not many people would have taken the time.
Looking forward to seeing the new pics
