Timmo mine are the proper rhd ones. I found them on ebay hidden (listing spelt wrong) so i kept them to myself lol got them for 90 quid

Hmm, that gets me thinking. Both sets of Beemer 7 series headlights anybody? Have the backings and the plastic covers too I think. BMW price is something like £250 per side plus VAT!

what are they? whats the difference? and how do i identify them? are they just newer model+year beamer ones or which? im sure i could mate them to modified bx lights with the glass fronts removed, mounted evenly then filled in between.

when you look at the units one will be the normal spolamp unit as you get with the quads, the other will have a round dome in the middle of it different to the normal h4 style unit! they are called projecter lamps! they have a better light and a wider field of vision to the std's! would be no point in doing it with normal bulbs!!

You can buy all the individual parts for the Morettes so a good route is to buy the shwells then grab some 2nd hand BMW lemses saving a lot of money and effort.

£150 is an honest price fopr a good set they are just over £250 new

will collect some tomo!! luke i agree its not expensive at 150 quid but i love the whole fabricating and trying to build stuff. im usually sucessfull!! i also save myself money i could use on other stuff. like your k+n it cost me 6 quid or something to build an adaptor that works fine. but if i could buy the casing and just fit bmw lights to them that might be an idea depending on how much the casings are?? will consider anything!! feed me info please!!

What the hell are "projector lights"?
Morette quads are just std lamps - the outer lamps have side lamp and high/low beam the inner pair are just spots for high beam use.
