In need of a Lambda guage

Post by Vanny »

i need to buy a lambda guage (air fuel ratio guage), i've ha d alook at Demon Tweeks and found a couple, but i want second third and fourth opinions before i go buying one! Any suggestions for where i might buy one or better still what to buy? There is no strict finicail limit but under £200 really!

I'll also need a Lambda probe, any suggestions of where i can find technical data for one?

Chris is the only person I can think of who's used one of these - this for programming ECU?

Try the gas conversion people they make them for setting up old fashioned mixer systems. They also sell sensors with data.

www.wtv-uk.co.uk

And go to the llambda probes link on the left.

Try Jaycar electronics Australia. Thae do mail order and are dirt cheap. A three wire universal Lambda is about £40 inc VAT from any motor favtor. Two of the wires are for a 12v supply to power the heater which improves response and allows you to mount the sensor furtther downstream from the engine. A zirconium type is the one you need.
