HP Pump
HP Pump
Need a HP pump for Phase 2 16v.
Cash on collection (if local), Paypal or Cheque.
Offers & prices please if anyone's got a 'known good' one.
A.S.A.P.
Could also do with the steel pipe that joins it to the regulator (but that's just an afterthought).
Cheers, Jay.

I've got one, came off a car Luke (Toddman) broke a while back so i'm pretty sure its in working condition, i'll have a look to see if there is any pipe work with it.

Can you use copper pipes for the LHM system
Been thinking about this for a while. I've got access to a load of copper pipe, olives, nuts etc and the proper flaring tool.
Is LHM compartable with copper

The LHM & copper is fine, the main problem with this idea is that i'm pretty sure most of the pipes terminate whith a special end and the last thing you want to be doing with our Hydraulics is adding MORE joins in the pipework ready to leak when you least expect itMike P wrote:Can you use copper pipes for the LHM system

your best getting a steel pipe,as i have seen copper nikcal split along the seem,i dont think it can stand the constant pulsing, its seems to be fine on the 3.5 hydraulic pipes though, its just the larger deiamiter pipes i hyave seen split, also you dont use olives these pipes have a special flaire and a rubber pipe seal

Did that also with the pump of my brothers Xantia. 1 new seal and it's working better than everMandic wrote:Just read on a slovenian cit forum, that a guy opened Xantia's pump up, changed the seals and that now it works like new. It costed him 3 pounds and an hour of work!
Sure will try on my old Bx pump if it can be done,
Cheers
