Leathers ok but I prefer Monza / Le mans for comfort and the ability to keep you in the seat when giving it large round corners.
I'd prefer to put monza's in mine but the dead cow looks sooooooooo cool!

I appreciate that these things may well be somewhat more rare in ex-pat land... sorry, Spain but i'd also like to think it's a misprint

I forget which is which again, but i got stripes in the white one & herringbone in the grey one... definitely prefer the stripes!

Never been a fan of a dead cow in any motor (unless i've just run it down on a dark b-road & i'm taking it home for a Steak or 3...)

I fully agree with that, if it was not for the cool factor ( Or hot in the summer  ) i'd swop for a Monza set but they just look too good.

leather with climate control and heated seats, or not at all. Looks wrong in anything with sporting pretext - but nice if you spend a lot of time sat on the motorway.

I guess it's not really a debate, you either like them or not!

My biggest things against them are;
* There REALLY cold when its cold outside
*There REALLY hot when its sunny
* there deffinately not as comfy as the 16v seats
* They need regular care or end up looking horrid!

BUT on the flip side,
* They look much better with the dark interior
* They feel much better (to the skin)and quite a bit firmer than fabric
* There much easier to clean

but the biggest thing for me, as a tried and test Kayaker and kit-humper-rounder i can through pretty much anything onto the back seat no matter how wet and know that it's only gonna take a few minutes to clean up and not hours waiting form them to dry! And for me thats the best thing about them! (and rear leather headrest seem much more common than fabric rear headrests!)

Going back to the original topic, £600 does seem on the steep side, but they look liek there in decent fettle and it's not like there are hundreds of sets knocking around, they may just get the asking price once word gets around!

Rear leather headrests are more uncommon IMO.

The cloth rears are the same as the cloth fronts, but with an inch sawn off the metal rod.

yes Mike, but that's cheating! Think i've only seen one real genuine rear set and they where leather clad!!
