It's not... with some welding skills (got), a notch cutter (not got) and a non-nagging missus (also not got) I don't think it would be too difficult

Few scaffolding poles nad clamps anf hey presto

although we used to do that on the bangers nad sand racers prolly not so nice looking in a road car

I was thinking that as well

Had a couple of weekends off, so will be lying under the car this Saturday with a screwdriver assessing the tinworm damage.
