Right boys... This is THE other one from Basingstoke where i live.

These pictures are quite deceptive, i've seen the car in the flesh and the bodywork is POOR

However, the rims are quite nice having been diamond edged a couple of years ago. That was about the time i last spoke to the owner and even then he wanted £750 for it, i guess he's reading too far into 'increasing values'.

Not even with your barge-poles...

certainly worth £650 i would have thought, with that mileage. and looks like its got a re-conned pump which is worth £100 alone.

If it was nice, then I'd like to think that £1k is about on the money for that mileage.

I'd agree. Jason Dawe said so

But in seriousness, its worth £1k if its a good un. I just sold a great example to Brian King on this forum (although it may be cursed with the amount of bad luck he's had) for the same money. They're worth it.

That one however, things just say no don't they? Things like rear bumper, number plates are tatty etc....if you love and cherish your car you can't leave tatty plates on it

i keep the tatty plates on mine as i've got a sneaking suspicion that speed cameras can't read them. they're readable to the naked eye but any amount of flash photography makes them all blurred 8)

Like i said, this bloke was PROPER deluded when i spoke to him last and the car really WAS rough... mind you, i'd also have to query the mileage as i'm sure i remember it having more than mine when i saw it outside Halfords last year. (wonder if theres any paperwork to back it up).

Done a nice job with the back-to-black under the bonnet tho.

I think that pumps just been painted rather than being NEW, i don't think they'd come sprayed all green like that. (a recon one's £220+)

It just won't sell for that sort of money, no chance (or i'll eat my hat).
