strutbar

Post by Anonymous »

Hey...

Today i got a new toy for my RX-7, a front strutbar. Should give better handling but mostly for me just bling bling when i open the hood

But now my question...when busy on the bx i asked myself numerous times if this wouldn't be possible on the bx?
I really have no idea how to mount a strutbar between his "legs"....

Anybody tried this before or even better are there pics?

As far as i'm concerned theres probably very little to be gained with a Brace on the BX, with the bulkhead so far forward i don't think it would make any difference (except for the aforementioned Bling! factor).

IIRC they mostly came about in the days of Group B rally cars of the 70's & 80's such as Escorts & Audi Coupes & Sierras where the struts were much further forward in the chassis legs from the strength of the bulkhead and so were much more prone to flexing.

Most of the models they are commonly supplied for nowadays benefit very little from these products, especially FWD motors. But yes, they do still look good!
Now listen here you mullet...
