I think I've worked out that the 2nd item is headlight protectors?

Not sure on compensator - do you mean something in the brakes or hydraulic system?

If you're not sure of the english version of the words but can find a reference to it in French on a microfiche (or better still a picture) I'm sure we can work it out

Ah, got you!

The first part in English is the 'idle control valve' and the 2nd is the 'spark plug cover'

I'm sure someone will be along to offer some bits - and don't worry about your English, I don't expect any of us can string much of a sentance together in Portugese!

Hope you get the parts soon

Adrian :D

...and for Soupapes' benefit the posts above are referring to a famous comedy sketch by 'the two Ronnies' set in a hardware store where the bloke behind the counter has to interpret what the customer is asking for - 'fork handles' says the customer - fork handles arrive - 'no, 4 candles'

You get the idea?!

I think most English people struggle with our sense of humour let alone the Portugese.

Would be like trying to explain irony to an American :D

Ah the fun we have with international relation! :) Fondly remember doing a complete work schedule for some Poles in pictures, only to discover the next day that there leader spoke English!!

On the point in hand,
No plug cover but the idle speed valve is shared with 306 1.6 and lots of others which should be easy to locate locally in breakers. mention the 306 cos its hidden from view so not obvious!!!

About the idle valve i just find out one in ebay, and it seems the same model with same number id, is shared in other cars like volvo's.
