It may be a phase 1, but the aircon terminals suggest a later version.

The ECU and other assembly components for the 16V are on a complete separate loom (engine management) from the main one, which I am 90% certain did not change from Mk1 to Mk2.Jdt wrote:hmm, but I can't see how each wire is connected in this . Problem is that my wires are broken at the point where they enter the engine room, probably thanks to a rodent.
So i need a diagram where you can see what pin of the ECU connects to what sensor and to what wire specific on that sensor.
Looking at the manual here, only Motronic ML4.1 is listed for the 16V.
i think jdt was thinking more of the transducers related to the Motronic its self, however console guage sensors are in the main loom and are totally seperate in Mk2 BX's (making engine conversions VERY easy for us!)
I think i have a whole host of pics and diagrams for the Motronic wiring (ML4.1 and M3.1) so if you PM me your email addy i'll zip them accross!

You are probably right, I have just discovered the M1.3 diagram, that the manual does confirm later 16V and TZi models (though there are discrepancies in the wording, and the actual diagrams on the supplement pages).
Anyhow, I am sure a good forensic scientist could identify which wire ties up from the rodent dental marks on either side of the cut.
