About the clutch levers, just fit the one thats in the old 5-speeder into the 6 speeder and no problems there anymore.
Also You'll need to replace one of the gearlevers on the box since it has a slightly different angle.
All in all its not so much more work than replacing a clutch, but in my experience the 6-speed box just fits so much better to the characteristics of the D6C engine than the 5-speed box.
Interesting project, but how did you solve this problem?
And about the problem with the right turn, isn't there any way of limiting the tire turn angle?
