Mini BX shoot

Post by Kitch »

Lifted from another forum, the original posting by Alex (Capri)

Well, Kitch and I got itchy feet today so we went out for a quick blat around to take some shots of the two BXs together. Things we have learned today: 1. Good motion shots can be achieved by making the car drive past you slowly. 2. A BX turbodiesel with half a turbo simply hasn't a fart's chance in hell of keeping up with a 16v. 3. Security guards can be little Hitlers. 4. Gravel car parks make cars F*cking Dusty. Anyway, to the pics!

And to finish, a few panning shots captured with the cars in motion. First, the 16v:

And now, the TZD Turbo - looking considerably less composed thanks to its softer suspension and thinner anti-roll bars!

The grey diesel isn't mine, so I don't care about his splitter  Its a really tidy car though, makes mine feel like a right dog.

The first shots were taken in Whitely business park. Its in Fareham, just off the M27 before Portsmouth. We got moved on by some jobsworth security guard, but we were there for ages to be fair!

I like the penultimate pic by the water, Marcello Gandini stopped off on the way home for a quick paddle.
Prefer it to the Lamborghini, like Signor Gandini!
